Hey friends!
I was blessed this year to be able to go to Mexico (before my passport expires)!
So, I had never stayed at an all inclusive resort. I have been to a few places, but our norm has been to rent a place. Someone usually ends up cooking and doing things not conducive to RELAXING. We took a girl's trip to an all adult, all inclusive resort. Let me tell you! I ate all of the food and I drank all of the drinks! It was such a beautiful and relaxing time! Can you imagine just sitting out by the pool all day and being waited on hand and foot? We did it! And I want to do it again! I will do it again!
I didn't know how bad I needed to unwind until I got the opportunity to do so! Remember to take care of yourselves friends!
We stayed at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort. The only downside to this trip was that we could not swim (and I use that term loosely) at the beach due to erosion. There was a lifeguard on duty to make sure no one went out too far, but really the waves at the shore would sweep you away if you even tried to.
The food wasn't too bad. It wasn't the best I'd ever had, but I tried some dishes that normally would not appeal to me. I can still taste the shrimp broth. With it being all inclusive, why not try all the things?
Who goes somewhere tropical and can't drink tropical drinks? Me! that's who! I'm allergic to coconut so I had to be really careful. They were using the real deal coconut milk and not that imitation stuff. Nonetheless, the bartenders were more than happy to make something up for me!
We ventured out and did a dinner cruise. I don't have any information about the company we used because our driver (who we met because our transportation from the airport wasn't confirmed and we had to find another route) booked it for us. It was beautiful! Seeing the sun set on the beautiful Pacific Ocean gave my spirit a calm like I have never experienced before. I definitely now understand how people fall in love with the West Coast.
Traveling opens you up to trying new things. It exposes you to so many different cultures and shows that there isn't just one way to live. I love exploring new places and faces.
What's your favorite place to travel? I'm still discovering. Generally, anywhere that I can smell some salt water is good for me!
XOXO,
RoJo
