A Mug of Love

The weather has been crazy here in South Carolina. We've gotten much more snow and ice than we are used to. In fact, we aren't used to ANY! The state shuts down completely at the threat of snow or ice. Good thing though. Most of South Carolinian drivers can barely manage in dry conditions... So we've been closing down everything and staying home. I, for one, enjoyed being home. During the week I don't get to spend much time with my little babe, so I thoroughly enjoyed the two breaks we had. I think she did too. She is now 7 months old...I can't believe it. I haven't done her photo shoot yet because I can't seem to get my internal clock to adjust enough to do it in the mornings. But soon...maybe this weekend. The snow and ice in front of my garage... The only issue that I have with being in the house is that all I want to do is eat! Most of it was good, wholesome food. But a good bit of it was not. I felt compelled to try new recipes which were mostly

Dial Vitamin Boost Giveaway

Howdy folks! Dial sent me a bottle of their new Vitamin Boost Body Wash to test out. They even sent me a few coupons to give away to you guys! Don't they ROCK?! Yeah they do, and so does this new body wash! I got the product a few weeks ago, but as is with most things that come to my house, it just sat in the living room unopened. It means that this body wash just made it upstairs with me this morning! LOL I'm always skeptical about "moisturizing" body washes. I have extremely sensitive, eczema prone skin. So I really have to be careful. Even some washes that claim to be triple moisturizing dry me out and leave me wishing I had one of those cat towers to rub up against. So I finally got to test the waters with this one. Here are what this product c

Even through my single-dom I'm a sucker for a good romantic movie. I don't necessarily believe in fairy tales, but I do believe in happy endings. Especially for those deserving of it. I'm also a sucker for a good comedy. Laughing is good for the soul! A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of receiving free passes to see a movie that will be hitting the theaters next month. A romantic comedy with a well-known cast. Is it me or is Kevin Hart starring in EVERYTHING lately? I'm not mad at him though! So...first I'll discuss dinner. I don't often get to dine out. Money is tight and I feel horrible when I leave my little babe after I've been at work all day. I know that I still must have a life outside of her, but I still hate leaving her. So I score these passes and secured a babysitter for the evening. By the time I got off work I was hungry. I asked my date where we should go and we played the back and forth game of restaurants in the area until we landed on a
