Soft Scrub 4-in-1 Toilet Care and a Giveaway!

Cleaning the toilet is a dirty job...but someone has to do it! I was sent a new bathroom product to test. Soft Scrub 4-in-1 Toilet Care.

It boasts being the only toilet bowl rim hanger that: Cleans toilets, prevents future buildups, fights toilet ring, and freshens for up to 4 weeks. It is available in two scents-- Alpine Fresh (with bleach) or Sapphire Waters (fragrance without bleach). I was sent the Alpine Fresh. I'm not familiar with other rim hangers...I just clean the toilet with a brush, toilet cleaner and some elbow grease.
I didn't take pictures of my own of this product because I feel some kind of way about bathroom pictures...a little too personal for me. LOL

I will warn you that you probably should not trust the nose of a pregnant woman. So there's that disclaimer. Before I even opened the package I didn't like the smell. I had to decide which of my 3 toilet bowls would be the test site. I chose the master because it is the one most frequently used. After a few days the smell wasn't so noticeable. But I had to get used to it to see if this thing was really gonna keep the toilet bowl clean.

So far it has been in there for about two weeks and I have NOT had to clean the inside of the bowl! So out of the four things it brags about, I give it 3 of 4...because I can't smell it anymore. But maybe I just got used to it?

Whichever the case, it really does keep the bowl clean, free of build-up, and it fights toilet ring...and it has a strong smell at first (for a pregnant lady). So I give it a thumbs up! Now if I could only get them to send me a few more for the other toilets!

With that being said, I have a giveaway!

**I was sent this product to review by Soft Scrub. I was not in any other way compensated. All opinions here are my own.**

  1. Wish me luck on winning the coupon! My motto is "If I don't have a coupon, I'm not buying it." LOL! My favorite chore is washing clothes. I know, I know! Most people hate doing laundry. I'm quite the organized person and because of that, I love the order I get while folding, sorting and putting away clothes! Call me weird if you must, but that's my favorite chore!

    1. Tammy I must be the only person that HATES laundry! I don't mind the washing and drying so much...but the folding and hanging...UGH! LOL Congrats you are one of my winners! Hit the Contact Me tab above and send me your address and I will get your coupon to you!

    2. Thanks so much Ronisha! I'm doing laundry right now. It calms my nerves at times. LOL.Thanks again!

    3. You are very welcome doll!

Dial Vitamin Boost Giveaway

Howdy folks! Dial sent me a bottle of their new Vitamin Boost Body Wash to test out. They even sent me a few coupons to give away to you guys! Don't they ROCK?! Yeah they do, and so does this new body wash! I got the product a few weeks ago, but as is with most things that come to my house, it just sat in the living room unopened. Not because I didn't want to open it...but I've been a little short on time. Even with several snow days it seems like I just don't have enough hours in a day. Does that mean I don't wash? NOOOO. It means that this body wash just made it upstairs with me this morning! LOL I'm always skeptical about "moisturizing" body washes. I have extremely sensitive, eczema prone skin. So I really have to be careful. Even some washes that claim to be triple moisturizing dry me out and leave me wishing I had one of those cat towers to rub up against. So I finally got to test the waters with this one. Here are what this product c

Dial Baby & Kids (Giveaway)

Let me start by saying that the toddler years are fun...and a true test of faith and patience LOL! I love my little tot with everything I have in me. But every day she tests my limits in way I didn't even know were possible. I mostly laugh. She is a very spirited little girl who LOVES to be outside. I mean she will cry to go outside and sometimes all she wants to do is climb in a chair and sit on the porch and watch the cars go by. On this particular day though...(Jesus be a fence) she wanted to chase lizards, pop bubbles, shred leaves, kick her ball in the sticker bushes and throw a flower pot off the deck to see how far she could get it to go. Maybe softball is in her future, who knows LOL. That said ball ended up bursting from being repeatedly kicked in the sticker bushes... After our world wind backyard excursion, we go inside to have a snack and settle down a bit. Luckily she likes to wash her hands. I mean, she almost had that lizard! She really enjoys Dial W

Holiday Party Etiquette

With the holidays coming up on us so fast, it’s only right that we talk party etiquette. I can only speak about Black party etiquette, so that’s what I will discuss here. I'm sure some of these rule can be applied across different cultures/ethnicities. If you are invited to a party, gathering, dinner, or the like, there are some things that you just don’t do. If we invited you, we must like you at least a little bit. That can end quickly. Here are some general rules of Black house gatherings that expand beyond the holidays. You’re welcome. Don’t assume all Black events start late. Yes…a lot of them do, but you don’t want to be the late one. If I tell you it starts at 3, I’ve most likely accounted for the lateness of my family members. We move on without them. Don’t be tardy for the party. Don’t show up empty handed. Even if you are told not to worry about bringing anything, bring something. Even if it’s a bottle of sparkling cider. There will be massive side eye if you s
