Not For The Faint Of Heart-Soft Scrub Giveaway

Depending on how long you have been a fan of Chocolate Kisses, you probably already know that I sometimes receive products to test and sometimes I hold giveaways for these products. This is one of these such times! I am always excited to try something new and I love that I can share the fabulous stuff with my readers!

So, about my latest item...Soft Scrub Total All Purpose Cleaner...

Listen, I really do try to keep my house as clean as I can. I'm always having people stop by (unannounced mostly) and I hate being caught slipping! So when I tell you that this kind of surprised me I am telling you the truth!

I got this product to try a couple weeks ago and I'm just getting around to it because I was trying to use up some other cleansers that I already had. I DO NOT have pictures to post because I just couldn't post them and be subject to your judgement! LOL

So I've been packing my house up room by room. Ok it's not that big of a house, but I have a lot of stuff! Mostly kitchen gadgets that spend most of their time in the box until I use it. Then it gets cleaned and goes back in the box. But I've digressed. The packing and moving is an entirely different blog post!

So as I removed my shower curtain in the master bath, I said to myself "Self, you should really use this stuff so you can do a review." But at that moment, I had just cleaned the tub (or so I thought). So I said let me give it a try.

First of all, I love the design of the bottle. I was a little discouraged at first because it clearly states on the bottle that it works upside down (not many bottles do this). So as I tried to spray it, it acted like it wasn't gonna come out! But after a few seconds it worked. The only thing that I did NOT like about this bottle was that in order to get spray instead of foam, you have to flip out the front of the nozzle.

So I sprayed and sprayed. I walked away and came back a few seconds later to horror! Did I mention I had JUST cleaned this bathtub? This spray will really make you get your life!! I ended up using almost the entire bottle because I felt like I had to scrub then entire tub and wall. It really showed up!

I prefer the bleach version...probably because when I smell bleach I think clean...or crime scene cleanup LOL. But I really feel like my previous cleaner did not do the job that I paid for it to do. And here comes this little sample of Soft Scrub showing it up! I won't mention the other cleaner because I don't want to give it credit! So for the bathtub it worked fabulously.

Now, I tried the Bath and Bowl version on the toilet and it did not do it for me. After I cleaned with it, I ended up using my regular regimen of baking soda and vinegar to get it sparkling like I like it.

I was too embarrassed to show y'all pictures LOL. So now for the giveaway... 1. I don't really care for the lotion type (I couldn't think of a better word lol). I see myself continue to purchase the Soft Scrub Total with Bleach.

Dial Vitamin Boost Giveaway

Howdy folks! Dial sent me a bottle of their new Vitamin Boost Body Wash to test out. They even sent me a few coupons to give away to you guys! Don't they ROCK?! Yeah they do, and so does this new body wash! I got the product a few weeks ago, but as is with most things that come to my house, it just sat in the living room unopened. Not because I didn't want to open it...but I've been a little short on time. Even with several snow days it seems like I just don't have enough hours in a day. Does that mean I don't wash? NOOOO. It means that this body wash just made it upstairs with me this morning! LOL I'm always skeptical about "moisturizing" body washes. I have extremely sensitive, eczema prone skin. So I really have to be careful. Even some washes that claim to be triple moisturizing dry me out and leave me wishing I had one of those cat towers to rub up against. So I finally got to test the waters with this one. Here are what this product c

Dial Baby & Kids (Giveaway)

Let me start by saying that the toddler years are fun...and a true test of faith and patience LOL! I love my little tot with everything I have in me. But every day she tests my limits in way I didn't even know were possible. I mostly laugh. She is a very spirited little girl who LOVES to be outside. I mean she will cry to go outside and sometimes all she wants to do is climb in a chair and sit on the porch and watch the cars go by. On this particular day though...(Jesus be a fence) she wanted to chase lizards, pop bubbles, shred leaves, kick her ball in the sticker bushes and throw a flower pot off the deck to see how far she could get it to go. Maybe softball is in her future, who knows LOL. That said ball ended up bursting from being repeatedly kicked in the sticker bushes... After our world wind backyard excursion, we go inside to have a snack and settle down a bit. Luckily she likes to wash her hands. I mean, she almost had that lizard! She really enjoys Dial W

Baby Magic is Here! My Birth Story

Princesses get their way. And true to form, my little princess decided that she, and only she would be in control of when she arrived. Forget about me or the doctors trying to schedule ANYTHING! **This is a long post that goes into detail. Read at your own risk.** On Sunday, July 21st...no scratch that. On Saturday, July 20th, I was having cramps. They weren't too painful and were coming only about once every hour. Honestly, I thought I had gas. I had a good bit of visitors that day and told everybody that I felt like I was going to have the baby soon. I was already on bed rest and wasn't doing much. Thanks to some awesome friends, I had enough food that all I had to do was warm it and eat it. After all of the company left, I really just wanted to lie down. So I went to bed. I was awakened maybe 3 times during the night with these "cramps." The next morning I got out of bed about 10:30am (late for me) and took a shower, hoping that the heat would soothe me.
